High Pass Hellraisers
The High Pass Hellraisers are a rag tag bunch of mind controlled brutes. Drawn together by the powers of the Waaagh. Most of the members of the team do not realize they are playing Blood Bowl, and sometimes forget this, and instead just set out to hurt the opposition.
Franchise History
Background and establishment
Long time Orc coach Stompa had been coaching his own Orc team (the Red Eye Mounatin Ladz) for many seasons now. And after discovering this new format of which to play he couldn’t pass up the chance. Using the devious powers of the Waaagh his loyal Shaman ‘Thrall’ uses mind control techniques in order to force the team in to doing Stompa’s bidding. Stompa, not fluent in such powers, keeps Thrall around as a defensive coordinator, just in case certain members of the team suddenly ‘wake up’ and decide to rebel.
Team Information
Team Name
The name High Pass come from the location in which Stompa’s tribe of greenskins used as a trap to capture and contain his players. They were loured here under the mind controlling influence of Thrall, only to be sabotaged and round up like cattle. The cunning Orc coach chose High Pass as was close to his Red Eye Mountain fort and because there was only 1 way in and 1 way out. This made it easy for the greenskins to barricade them in. Once they had nowhere to go Stompa hand picked the players he wanted and had them transported like prisoners back to Red Eye Mountain. The remaining hostages were freed, apart from the lonely Elves that ended up in High Pass. They were sent to the dungeons of Red Eye Mountain. Everyone knows its dangerous to leave Elves running around.
Logos and Colours
The teams logo is a Pumpkin bomb, as these were used as one of the many ways to release the mind control gas on unsuspecting victims.
The team’s primary color is bronze chequer.
Mascot
The teams mascot is ‘Da Hellraiser’. A ferocious squig with an appetite for blood. At half time he can be released on to the field to pick off any injured players who have been unlucky enough not to make it off the pitch.
