Player Strike bad for other league, benefits Blitz
According to sources in the head office of Blitz, there will be an influx of cheap talent in the upcoming draft. Rumors tell that another league has had a player salary dispute resulting in a player strike, with a handful of veteran players walking out of the league.
Allegedly, Blitz was contacted by these players, and have worked out a deal for the veteran players to come play in Blitz for one season – at a reduced contract price to those franchises that pick them up.
It remains unclear as to how many players have defected to Blitz and what the ultimate demise of the other league will mean for Blitz, but for now one thing is for sure: Blitz is reaping the benefits of others woes.
